Inspection & Collection

  • Our driver will call you directly to confirm arrangements You will usually get a call within a day of accepting the offer Our drivers are on the road full time so they don’t make calls when driving We also need time to run the background checks on the car and collect the money from the bidder

  • Once an offer is accepted, we try to get all sales closed off within 3-4 days. If you live in a more distant location, it may be slightly longer If a driver is in a location sooner we will let you know but we quote 3-4 days Rest assured, our business is getting the transaction completed so the driver will be in touch with you.

  • Yes if you wish, our depot is just outside Naas You will need to make contact with us to make an appointment All of the background checks would need to be clear before you arrive If you have finance to clear, you will still need your settlement letter in advance

  • We have 3 drivers who look after different part of the country Depending on where you are will determine which driver it is He will call to introduce himself in advance anyway You can finalize any special instruction or directions at that point

  • You will need the car, keys and logbook ready Your photo ID and proof of address The car will need to be taken out and in a position where we can be easily inspected and load onto our truck.  We have a lot of calls to make and don’t have time to wait for an hour while somebody moves 10 cars.  Make sure the car is clean and ready for inspection A filthy car is a red flag of someone trying to hide something so the inspector insist you get the car washed before he does his checks

  • It’s the sellers responsibility to provide a full and truthful description of their car If there is something wrong with it on inspection, which hasn’t been disclosed, the car may fail inspection If something comes to light post sale which was known to the seller prior to sale, then the seller assumes full responsibility For the avoidance of any doubt, if the seller interferes with the cars onboard computer to change mileage, switch off warning light or changes setting to deliberately hide a known fault, the seller bears all responsibility. If the seller has been notified by the NCT or dealer a major fix is required that has not been disclosed, the seller bears all responsibility Luckily, 99.99% of people are straight up and honest but we’ve come across our fair share of chancers. We have a duty of care to both buyer and seller and provide a top class service in an industry which at the best of times is a mine field to navigate, if you are not comfortable with any of the above, we don’t have a problem not doing business with you. This also should demonstrate to our buyers the level of care we go to, to make sure no one is ripped off and left with a lemon from an unscrupulous seller
